How I Lost 100+ Pounds

It can be extremely difficult to know where to begin. Looking in the mirror and seeing that you are not what you want to be can be very difficult to cope with. Stepping on the scales and seeing that you weight more than 100 pounds over what you really should weigh can be depressing. Learn how I lost 100+ pounds.

This can then lead to weight gain, and you are caught in a vicious circle or weight gain, depression and a feeling of desperation. I know how this feels, I have been there. I remember stepping on to the scales, and seeing the number go higher than the scales were designed to go. I weighed more than the 280 pounds that the scales were designed to display. At my heaviest, I was very close to 300 pounds.

I had to educate myself in nutrition, learn about muscle building, find out about weight loss and improve my fitness and health. As a personal trainer, I can pass on my experience and knowledge and help you lose 100 pounds.

You Can Lose 100 Pounds

The most difficult part of losing weight is often knowing where to begin. It can be overwhelming and very confusing. You need to decide that it is time for you to begin your weight loss journey. Once you are ready to admit that it is time, and you no longer want to live the way you are living, gaining weight and being inactive; this is when your weight loss journey will really begin.

Step 1: Stop Gaining Weight

The first step to losing 100 pounds is to stop your weight gain. You are never going to lose significant weight if you continue making the same mistakes that you have always made. Step 2: Learn About Nutrition

The foods that we eat are so important in determining if we gain weight, and more importantly if we lose weight. This is where you will find that things start to get more difficult. Reaching the 50 pound weight loss target is something that you should be incredibly proud of. Not many people can say that they have lost 50 pounds, and even less can say that they have maintained their 50 pound weight loss. However, if your target weight loss is 100 pounds, then losing 50 pounds is just the halfway mark, you still have a lot of work ahead of you.

It has been 10 years since I was at my heaviest, weighing more than 100 pounds over my current weight. The obvious question is: Can I lose 100 pounds? Of course the answer to this is yes, it is possible to lose 100 pounds, I have done that myself. My answer to that would be that while losing 100 pounds is something that can be achievable, it is extremely difficult to do, and not many people can say that they have lost 100 pounds and maintained that weight loss for 10 years.
